Where do I join?
The home page is the front door. The green button continues to the live boards, where the registration form actually lives. Read the forums guide first if you are not sure which lane you want after you are in.
The form says I still need to confirm
Check the inbox that you typed, including Promotions and Spam. The confirmation step has to finish before posting unlocks. People miss it because the mail does not always sit in the primary folder. Login notes include a recent example.
I cannot get back in
Confirm the username, try a private window, and avoid opening a second account to test the first. If that fails, post on the support floor with the exact message on the screen. Leave the password out of the post.
Finding the right board
I have a question about a notice
Reply under that notice on Official Notices. Do not open a lounge thread that staff are not watching for outages.
I want to talk, not request
The lounge and the Sunday roundup are the rooms for that. One hello is enough. The checklist says where to put it.
I am about to post a request
Search first. The request desk merges twins. Titles need a real subject, which this thread explains without a lecture that runs for pages.
