What this site can see
Ordinary server and browser data: browser type, device class, coarse location inferred from an IP address, the page that sent you, and the pages you open here. Optional analytics, including the counter in the page footer, may store aggregate visit counts. This index does not ask you to create a profile and does not take a password.
Why it is kept
To serve the pages, see which guides people actually finish, and notice abuse such as hammering the site. We do not sell personal information collected on this community index. Logs stay only as long as they are useful for operations and security, then they age out.
Cookies
Cookies or local storage may remember a preference or support analytics. Your browser can block them. Blocking cookies can affect a counter or a saved preference. It does not remove posts from the public pages, because those pages do not depend on you being signed in here.
When you leave
The colored buttons continue to other services. Those services have their own policies, accounts, and logs. Read those before you register or type anything you would mind keeping. This policy stops at the edge of simpcity.holiday.
Security
No site can promise that transmission is perfectly safe. Reasonable care is used on this one. Do not send passwords or identity documents through a public thread. Support posts should describe an error, not include secrets. See the Help Center for what to write instead.
Your choices
