What belongs on this board
Staff write the opening post. Members reply only when they have a direct question about that notice. Requests, introductions, and “what is everyone reading” do not start here. Those lanes are the request desk, lounge, and support floor.
A good notice says what changed, who it affects, and when it starts. It does not bury the point under a changelog nobody will finish. If you missed a week, read the pinned welcome and the newest maintenance note, then you are caught up.

Correct. This board is for reading. If a notice is wrong or unclear, reply under that notice. Do not open a second thread to say the same thing.
