How this floor is used
The lounge is where regulars talk when the subject is the community itself, the week, or something that does not fit a single creator thread. It is also where new people practice writing a normal post before they touch busier boards.
Keep requests out of check-in threads. A “while I am here, does anyone have…” reply derails fifty people who only came to say what they are reading. Open a thread on the request desk instead. Login pain goes to support.

Weekend check-in. I am catching up on the roundup and then the welcome thread, in that order. Trying not to open anything I have not searched.

Same plan. The lounge is readable again after yesterday’s merge. Duplicate check-ins got folded into this one, which is how it should work.

In and out. Fixed a login loop with the notes on the support floor, so I am only here to say the private-window trick still works.

Reading more than posting. If you are new, the checklist is shorter than it looks and it saves you a scolding on the request desk.
